Engenix was appointed to undertake the detailed design of a new steel pipe bridge to support process piping and EC&I distribution systems. Due to site layout constraints and fixed pipe runs, the layout followed an unorthodox configuration with the main span supporting a secondary span over a road junction. In collaboration with the piping designers, we designed a 2-span steel box truss with trussed support towers. The design was tailored to simplify and speed up construction — facilitating pre-assembly of the towers and main span trusses with seating connections, and allowing pre-lift fit out of pipework and cable ladder on the bridge.

Engenix was appointed to undertake the detailed design of the civil and structural works associated with the upgrade of a busy fuel storage and distribution depot. The works included installation of multiple tanker loading and unloading gantries and associated process systems. Due to the nature and continuous operation of the facility, careful planning, coordination, and phasing of the works was essential. We worked closely with our Piping and EC&I partners, the client, and civil contractor to ensure the works were thoroughly coordinated and planned in advance to minimise the impact on site operations.
